Ivory & Beau + Camellia Brides: Emily G., Emily R., Anna, Natalia, Hannah, Samantha, Alexandra
This year is flying by, am I right!? But in a totally great way!!!! I was telling someone the other day, well like probably 8 hours ago… she was saying how every time she flies home to Australia to see family it feels more special and more meaningful then the last. I replied, I think it’s because we’re getting older. We value time more and more with every day, every month, every season, every year that passes. It also, well for me personally, gets easier to move through seasons of difficulty. Because over the past 36 and a half years I’ve seen time and time again than it is just that, a season, and that God’s always got something better up ahead.
But enough about me and my sappy nostalgia moments here… this post is all about celebrating Ivory & Beau brides!!!!!! Because let’s be real, without the I&B Brides, I wouldn’t even be sitting here, way too early in the morning because I couldn’t sleep (6:05AM to be exact), writing this blog post before the sun has even risen. Truthfully it is quite a delightful morning so far. I have the patio door open, I can hear the birds tweeting outside, the air is not yet warm but not too cold that it doesn’t feel wonderful having the door open. And the longer I write about how amazing this morning is the more tempted I am to move my entire giant desktop computer out to the patio to sit and write out there… I think it’s going to be one of those days, you know? The kind of day where my delirium from not getting a great night sleep leads to constantly being distracted by other things. Probably a good thing I’ll be spending the day at a women’s conference rather than at the shop with my team where I would undoubtedly drive them all insane by my inability to be quiet, stay in my office and focus…
This blog post is giving me vibes of when you find a good recipe on Pinterest, then you go to that webpage and then it’s super hard to find the recipe + instructions because the author has written so much blah blah blah blah blah that you just give up and go find a different link that’s easier to find the recipe + instructions. Just saying…
On to the brides!!!!!!
EMILY G. IN BYWATTERS
A Southern wedding that feels like something out of a Taylor Swift song with a boat ride after the ceremony, a first look prank and the cutest blue cowboy boots you’ve ever seen. Emily’s wedding makes me want to soak up summer Southern nights listening to country music drinking beer dancing under the stairs on the back of a pick-up truck. Who’s with me?!
THE DRESS:
Her dress was perfect for all the frolicking in fields & riding on boats… no frills just a buttery soft stretch crepe backless dress by ByWatters with thin straps that she paired with a soft lace veil for Southern bride perfection.
EMILY R. iN REBECCA INGRAM
Getting married in 3 weeks?! No problem! Emily came in on a whim and found the perfect gown for her backyard wedding and how adorable is she with her husband all snuggly and adorable in that golden light!?
THE DRESS
Emily R. chose a romantic a-line wedding dress featuring delicate lace appliques, a plunging v-neckline in a soft blush color with bold large ivory floral lace. Her dress has a flowy chiffon skirt and low back. Such a perfect lightweight gown for an outdoor wedding in the backyard! And I love that we were able to find the perfect gown for her on a tight timeline!!
ANNA IN REBECCA INGRAM
Anna first said “yes to the dress” at Ivory & Beau and then chose to also work with our floral team to bring her fall wedding to life! Anna & Ranier’s dreamy fall wedding at Tybee Island Wedding Chapel featured rich autumn florals and a stunning flowy gown by Rebecca Ingram.

Natalia, like Anna, said “yes to the dress,” then chose Ivory & Beau for her florist for her wedding day!! Natalia & Rob’s wedding took place at the Cathedral of St. John The Baptist in the heart of historic Savannah. Their flowers featured bright blues and a very tropical touch.

Natalia’s Sottero & Midgley gown is th eperfect gown for a fairytale romance with showstopping deatil. This fit-and-flare lace wedding dress features a plunging illusion neckline, beaded floral appliqués, and a dramatic train edged in intricate lace. The sheer bodice and low illusion back bring a touch of sexy sophistication, while the overall silhouette flatters every curve.
