We are now looking to hire a part-time bridal boutique assistant & wedding planning assistant/day-of coordinator immediately. This position requires someone who is flexible and able to learn multiple jobs and positions quickly. 


  • Bridal Boutique Sales - must be outgoing, motivated, friendly, personable and organized. Must enjoy working with people (brides and families) in a fun laid-back bridal boutique. Responsibilities include helping bride find a dress, closing sales, following up with customer leads via phone and e-mail, assisting with ordering and sizing as well as behind-the-scenes duties such as receiving shipments and steaming dresses. Previous sales experience preferred.
  • Wedding Planning - assist with behind-the-scenes wedding planning e-mails, timeline preparation, day-of coordination. Must be able to lift at least 25 pounds and be on feet for up to 15 hours.
  • Floral Design - create and design floral arrangements, bouquets, boutonnieres, flower crowns and more. An eye for creativity a plus!
  • Position is part-time (min 25 hours/week) with the opportunity to advance to a full-time position, hourly + commission. 

Working at Ivory & Beau is a very unique working environment. Every day is something different - from Instagram stories trying on wedding dresses to hundreds of e-mails and phone calls to helping brides find the wedding dress they are going to marry the love of their life in to being knee deep in flower blooms for a wedding... every day is a little bit different. It is a very fast paced environment and while we do play hard we also work just as hard if not harder so we are looking for someone who can handle the fast pace of the job. 


  • Sales experience preferred
  • Excellent organization skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
  • Computer Literacy in Word, Excel
  • Blogging experience a bonus
