For Madison & Stefan’s wedding, timeless met trendy in one of our favorite celebrations to date. Taking a fresh approach to a classic green-and-white palette, this was a lesson on what-to-do if you’re planning a 2027 wedding, pairing lush textures and patterns with modern design elements that gave the entire celebration an effortlessly elevated feel. Equal parts timeless and current, their wedding is the kind of design that proves classic details can still make a statement.

The Ceremony

Madison & Stefan’s big day took place on Jekyll Island, a coveted wedding venue for couples looking for luxury and history all wrapped into one. Their ceremony was at the Crane Cottage Sunken Gardens, a spot that was breathtakingly beautiful all on its own.

For the ceremony florals, we leaned into a clean yet impactful design that felt natural to the setting while still making a statement.

The arrangements featured:

  • White anthurium and green anthurium for a sculptural, modern edge

  • Double oriental white lilies for softness and fullness

  • White calla lilies to add that timeless, refined feel

  • Lemonade roses for a subtle hint of warmth within the whites

  • Green snowball viburnum to create body and texture

  • Amaranthus for that signature draping movement

  • Unicorn Rumex to bring in an organic, slightly unexpected touch

We placed our sculptural arrangements on white pedestals framing the end of the aisle creating a dramatic backdrop for the couple. The result was a ceremony space that felt lush, timeless, and intentional. And, the green and whites of the centerpieces blended in perfectly with the natural beauty of the Sunken Gardens. The florals framed the moment without overwhelming it.

The Reception

The reception design carried the same palette but introduced more playfulness and texture through both florals and styling.

For our table centerpieces and entryway markers, we incorporated:

  • Antique green hydrangea for fullness and dimension

  • Green anthurium to tie back to the ceremony design

  • White calla lilies for continuity and elegance

  • Playa Blanca roses for a soft, romantic white

  • Lavender disbud mums for a subtle pop of unexpected color

For the reception, we also pulled inspiration from the rich, natural tones of limes, grapes, and plums. These colors weren’t just reflected in the florals, they were literally brought onto the tables, with fresh fruit woven into the centerpieces and place settings. It added a layered, organic feel that made the design feel both elevated and playful.

Incorporating fruit into tablescapes is all the rage. It brings in color, texture, and a sense of abundance in a way that feels effortless and unique, while still staying refined.

Paired with rattan chargers, soft patterned linens, and warm lighting elements, the overall reception design felt inviting, curated, and effortlessly chic.

What made Madison & Stefan’s wedding so special was the balance and embracing of color.  The florals felt trendy without trying too hard, modern without losing their softness, and detailed without feeling overdesigned.

This is the kind of design we’re loving right now intentional color palettes, statement blooms like anthurium and calla lilies, and textures that bring everything to life.

If you’re drawn to fresh greens, clean whites, and florals that feel both elevated and organic, this is a look our team would love to bring to life for you.
