Lizzie + Eric’s Coastal Garden Party Magic
Some weddings feel like they’ve leapt right out of a glossy bridal magazine — full of color, charm, and that indescribable spark. This Savannah celebration, planned to perfection by the incredibly talented Tara Skinner Events Team and adorned with lush florals by Ivory & Beau, was exactly that… and then some. It was the kind of day that made guests stop in their tracks, take a deep breath, and think, “Wow… this is stunning.”
From our very first design conversation, it was clear that they had a vision for Lizzie and Eric that blended refined elegance with a burst of fresh, joyful color.
Our role?
To sprinkle in the floral magic that would tie every moment together and make the celebration bloom from ceremony to cake cutting.
The Ceremony – A Blooming Welcome
Imagine strolling toward a waterfront backdrop as golden light dances on the water, greeted by floral arrangements so vibrant you can’t help but smile. We designed towering ceremony pieces brimming with buttery yellow ranunculus, peach garden roses, and playful pops of pink and blue, all nestled among delicate chamomile and airy greenery. The arrangements weren’t just décor — they were living art, swaying gently in the coastal breeze and perfectly framing Lizzie + Eric as they exchanged heartfelt vows.
Guests settled into wooden chairs, the sound of the water mingling with music, while the colors around them set the tone for a celebration that was equal parts romantic and joyful.
The Reception – Citrus, Color, and Coastal Charm
Once vows were said and happy tears were shed, it was time to bring the party indoors. Cocktail hour was a feast for the senses, thanks to the planner’s signature ability to weave together design elements that surprise and delight.
One of our favorite features? The citrus-infused bar display — an instant conversation starter. Along a sleek, blush-toned bar, we placed petite arrangements of delphinium, poppies, and spray roses in between vibrant lemons, grapefruits, and kumquats. It was fresh, playful, and so very “coastal garden party.” The setup felt like summer in a single vignette — refreshing, bright, and a little bit whimsical.
The Cake – A Sweet Work of Art
Even the cake was dressed for the occasion. We added clusters of delicate poppies, ranunculus, and petite blooms to the pristine white tiers, turning dessert into a statement piece. Every flower was carefully chosen to echo the palette and texture of the day, making the cake feel like a natural extension of the design rather than an afterthought.
As guests gathered for the cake cutting, the floral accents caught the light and drew people in — and, of course, the cake tasted just as good as it looked.

Our florals were the perfect complement to their vision, bringing bursts of life and texture to their carefully curated spaces.
Lizzie + Eric’s wedding wasn’t just beautiful — it was personal, joyful, and brimming with love. Every bloom, every citrus slice, every detail told part of the couple’s story, and we were honored to be part of a team that brought it all to life.
