If you’re reading this the week of your wedding, congrats! One of the most exciting days of your life is just around the corner and we can’t wait to celebrate with you. You’ve been counting down the days and checking off your “I do” to-dos and it’s almost time to parrrrr-tay. Pamper yourself!

First thing’s first: book a spa day for you and your fiance. We know this last week can be a bit hectic, but you’ve been working hard. Take a load off and spend some time with your sweetie all while getting runway-- sorry, we mean aisle-- ready. This pre-wedding treat includes mani/pedis, massages, and facials. Just make sure you’re familiar with any treatments you plan to book. We don’t want any wedding day skin disasters!

Make sure your wedding attire is good to go.

Now that you’re feeling your best, it’s time to make sure you’ll be looking your best. Send out all suits for a good press and make sure all gowns have been steamed to perfection. And don’t forget about those rings, y’all! Any jewelry store will polish up those babies so they shine bright for the ring exchange. Did you know that we now offer dress care packages to our brides and their bridesmaids? To learn more about all of our dress care options, give us a call at 912-200-4794.

Pack an emergency bag.

You guys, we cannot overstate the importance of having a “911” bag! This little bag saved shop-owner and recent bride Nicole on her wedding day. Grab a tote and pack items such as bobby pins, eyelash glue, pads/tampons, and safety pins. For a comprehensive list of what you should include, check out our blog post all about it. Oh, and PS: Ivory & Beau is giving away a free 911 Kit to the next bride to purchase their gowns at our new #I&BWhiteWarehouse! Our first nine have gone like hotcakes, so book your appointment SOON, y’all.

Check in with your bridal party/vendors.

At the beginning of the week, sit down with a cup of coffee (or maybe a mimosa, if you’re feeling particularly overwhelmed) and your vendor list to finalize all those amazing details you’ve been working on. Email or phone will do-- save time and skip visiting in person so you can spend more time with your people before the big day! While you’re getting in some quality time, check in with your bridal party to ensure that they have everything they need, too-- nobody wants to make a frantic accessory run the morning of the wedding.

Double check your decor.

Speaking of epic details, if you’ll be coordinating your own decor setup or dropping it off with a planner, take a moment to take inventory. Bust out the sticky notes and label the exact number of items going out, and if you’ve got a layout in mind, be sure to make note of where each item will be placed. This will make wedding day set-up a breeze!
