Having worked in the Savannah wedding industry for almost TWO DECADES (we know… crazy!), we’ve gotten very familiar– and super friendly– with all of our amazing Savannah wedding vendor friends. So when Cha Bella owners Candice + Michael reached out to us to help them plan their wedding and design their florals we were BEYOND flattered… and super DUPER excited!!
Candice + Michael’s wedding venue is one of the most unique picks in Savannah: 700 Wilmington! Seated right off of the Wilmington River, this hotel gives us all the romantic rustic vibes with its Spanish inspired architecture.
Oh yeah… did we mention that Candice was an Ivory & Beau Bride?! She totally ROCKED the Mesilla gown by Willoby, a boho-chic gown with a tiered lace skirt and billowy long sleeves. That deep v neckline tho!! Perfect for a pop of sex appeal in an otherwise sweet and romantic a-line wedding gown. We’re living for all the earthy green vibes in these wedding florals. If an abundance of flowers just isn’t your style, Candice + Michael’s big day is a perfect example of how you can lean heavily into greenery and still have wedding decor that your wedding guests (and your wedding planner!) will rave about for years.
Candice + Michael’s wedding was a foodie’s dream. We’re drooling just looking at these appetizers, catered by Chef Kirk Blaine. Their cake was a LITERAL cheese cake– seriously, check out the size of those cheese wheels! We’d expect nothing less from the owners of Cha Bella, a local Italian restaurant which is a Savannah favorite. If you haven’t been, you’ve got to book a reservation for your next date night.
