Best Indoor and Outdoor Wedding Venues in Savannah, Georgia

We might be a bit biased as long-time wedding planners and florists, but Savannah has no shortage of unique wedding venues. As amazing as this sweet, sleepy southern city is, we’ve got to admit: sometimes our weather can be a little temperamental. It’s part of Savannah’s charm, but if you’re planning a Georgia wedding, the threat of a summer storm can sometimes make our #ivoryandbeaucouples a touch nervous.

If you fit into that category, fear not! We’ve prepared a list of some of our favorite Savannah wedding venues with both indoor and outdoor spaces. Even if you’re not planning for a rain backup, sometimes it’s nice to shake things up a little and offer your wedding guests a variety of spaces to hang out in!

SHIPS OF THE SEA MARITIME MUSEUM

This venue is perfect for: a romantic, whimsical garden wedding.

What we love the most about this space: couples can save big on wedding floral costs and embrace the natural beauty of Ships of the Sea’s lush green gardens.

Best season for a wedding at this venue: Spring/Summer!

# of guests this venue can accommodate: 340! Though this garden venue seems small from the outside, there’s plenty of room across all of the various greenspaces to host a large wedding.

This venue is perfect for: a classic, elegant wedding.

What we love the most about this space: the Morris Center’s rustic brick ballroom is illuminated by a host of unique globe chandeliers.

Best season for a wedding at this venue: Fall/Winter

Our top tip for this venue: create a cozy lounge on the lawn for your guests to retreat for cocktails and conversations when they’re tired of dancing the night away.

What we love the most about this space: this rooftop wedding venue offers UNBEATABLE views of Savannah’s Historic Downtown District.

Where to head after the reception: Savannah Smiles Dueling Pianos! The Perry Lane is conveniently situated in downtown Savannah– one of the coolest party spots in the South! Book a party bus (because safe driving is ALWAYS a wedding DO) and grab your tribe to sing your heart out at one of our favorite Savannah hang-outs.

This venue is perfect for: a fun, quirky, modern wedding!

What we love the most about this space: this is one of the NEWEST wedding venues in Savannah. We love the industrial chic vibe of this Starland Yard venue– and just check out that dance floor! SO. COOL!
