Ivory & Beau Wedding & Florals: Sara & Meong

Sara & Meong had a boho, natural wedding with Korean-inspired traditions at The Mackey House in Savannah, Georgia. One of our lead planners, Claire, coordinated their special day, and we also got to create magic with their florals.

With a color palette of pale gray, white, light blue & muted greens, we used a variety of cosmos, Larkspur, nigella, roses, ranunculus, scabiosa & greenery for their arrangements. For Sara’s bouquet, she wanted a medium, organic & modern statement arrangement with lush blooms, overflowing with lots of greenery. The bridesmaid bouquets were smaller versions, minimal & organic. The boutonnieres contained a small ivory bloom with sprigs of greenery, with Meong’s being the largest.

For the ceremony backdrop, we placed draping loose greenery over the white arbor, along with placing two ferns at the beginning of the aisle provided by The Mackey House. For the welcome table, there was a medium organic compote arrangements along with clear tinted vases filled with loose blooms & greenery. At the cocktail hour, there was a shiplap wall provided by Savannah Vintage & Event Rentals and we placed sprigs of greenery throughout, surrounded by lounge furniture for a photo backdrop. At the reception, the guest tables alternated with the bridesmaid bouquets with colored tapered candles, with the others featuring medium, low compote arrangements with tea lights. Hanging from the tent, we placed rattan baskets provided by the bride, with draping pieces of greenery for a boho natural feel.

On the sleek rooftop lawn of Perry Lane, surrounded with the historic views of Savannah, Megan wove together a palette of deep berry reds, burnt oranges and blush shades of muted pink florals on two willow branch arches, creating a captivating and dramatic backdrop for Dawn & Larry’s ceremony. The results were breathtaking!
