Ivory & Beau Wedding & Florals: Cathi & Matthew
Cathi & Matthew had a chic & elegant ceremony at Sacred Heart Catholic Church followed by a reception at the Perry Lane Hotel in Savannah, Georgia - such a perfect venue to dance the night away with the most amazing view of the city. One of our lead planners, Olivia, coordinated their special day, and we also got to create magic with their florals.
With a color palette of rose gold, shades of pink & white, we used white orchid, a variety of roses, white ranunculus & anthurium, light pink astilbe, dried fan palm, pampas grass & eucalyptus for their arrangements. For Cathi’s bridal bouquet she wanted a large organic arrangement with a combo of textured blooms (shades of pink & white) with pampas grass. Her bridesmaid’s bouquet were much smaller arrangements of similar blooms, later used on the high boys during cocktail hour. The boutonnieres had small blooms to match. They didn’t forget about other details like flower girl bouquets & wrist corsages. Since their ceremony was in a church, the only florals added were aisle markers attached to each pew. The focal point of the reception space was a large circular arch framing the sweetheart table with 2 large arrangements attached on either side with a neon sign in the center. Two more matching arrangements were placed on both corners of the table. On each guest table, there was a gold-trimmed terrarium with placed loose blooms, greenery & dried palms/pampas grass.
