The Grammy's but Make it Bridal

Award season is one of the best times of the year! Endless red carpets with the best fashion. It’s always fun to see what celebs choose to wear on their big night, and the Grammy’s did not disappoint this year. There were a variety of looks, some kept it safe and simple, while others were adventurous and playful. As a bridal boutique, of course we are always focused on the dresses and what styles are on trend during the year. While watching The Grammy’s we thought hmmm….some of these dresses resemble some of our styles! From Lizzo to Ariana, JoJo to Camila, we chose some of our #iandbdresses for 5 celebs that we think they would wear on their wedding day!

Lizzo in Atelier Versace

The ultimate snow queen, might even say Game of Thrones vibes. So basically Lizzo killed it at the Grammy’s in her strapless, fitted gown with a high slit and fur wrap. She won for Pop Solo Performance & Urban Contemporary.

Comparable to her Versace dress, we chose Lonnie Lynette by Maggie Sottero - strapless mermaid with beaded lace appliqués and glitter tulle. Lizzo is all about showing off her gorgeous curves, and this dress would do her justice.

Ariana Grande in Giambattista Valli

Can we talk about a statement gown?! We expect nothing less from Ariana Grande. She’s little, but her style choices definitely aren’t. This is a stunning heather gray ballgown with three tiers a bunched tulle, and the formal gloves added a princess touch.

We have a few ballgowns up our sleeve, but we decided to go for Rickie by Sottero & Midgley - strapless, sweetheart neckline with romantic lace motifs & crystal buttons.

Dua Lipa in Alexander Wang

Dua Lipa is just a cool chick. No matter what she wears she always looks chic and sophisticated. Dua went for a two piece set by Alexander Wang, with the top acting like a corset with thin straps along with a white silk skirt reaching to the floor. Simple, yet elegant.

At I&B, we only have a few dresses that would qualify as “simple”, but we think that Jordann by Made With Love is right on the mark - thin straps that go into a slight v-neckline, fitted to the knee then turns into A-line, and a low scoop back.

JoJo in Rhea Costa

No matter how old you get, you should always fangirl over JoJo. It’s been awhile since we’ve seen her in the spotlight, but she is letting us know that she is still just as fierce. Rocking this strapless, velvet glittering gown, with a high slit and jewel detail, she is owning that red carpet.

We were mostly inspired by the high slit, and decided to choose Kayleigh by L’Amour by Calla Blanche. There’s only one word to describe a slit, and that’s sexy. With an illusion strapless, plunging neckline, all over lace motifs and a slit for days, we could definitely see JoJo rock this dress on her wedding day.

Camila Cabello in Versace

Last, but not least, Camila Cabello went for an all black moment by Versace, and she did not disappoint. A jeweled bodice with a layered tulle skirt, and not to mention a $1.8 million diamond necklace. No pressure there. Not only does this dress look great on the red carpet, but once she hit the afterparty, the skirt came off and the jeweled bodice extended into a fitted mini dress.

There’s no surprise that we chose the only black dress that we have, Zander by Sottero & Midgley - illusion long sleeves, contrasting layers of tulle, and 3D floral lace motifs. Unfortunately, it can’t turn into a mini dress, but we think Camila would love it anyway!
