Ivory & Bagels: Podcast #1

We hope you haven’t made it a part of your New Year’s resolution to cut out carbs… because we’re so excited to announce the FIRST EVER Ivory & Bagels podcast!

This project has been in the works for months, and after consuming lots of blueberry, cinnamon crunch, and occasionally whole grain bagels, we’ve got a whole line up featuring some of our favorite industry professionals.

This week, we’ve welcomed Bud of Bud Johnson Photography and Jeff of Jeff Bush Videography to join us in our inaugural Ivory & Bagels podcast.

Top Tips from Ivory & Bagels Podcast #1:

1. Get to know your photographer.

Bud Johnson reassures us that he likes to meet with couples several times before the wedding. A great way to get comfortable with your photographer (not to mention get some personal examples of their work!) is to book an engagement session.

2. Remember: it’s your day.

Every wedding professional knows how stressful (not to mention downright nervewracking) a wedding day can be, but Bud’s got some solid advice: never forget that it’s your day. Don’t worry about anything anyone else has to say. Let it all roll off your back and make every effort to enjoy this special moment-- it’ll go by fast!

3. Trust the process.

Following along the same lines as Bud, Jeff Bush recommends that couples take comfort in knowing that they’ve done everything they can. Those countless hours spent attending meetings and pouring over planning have got to count for something! Planning a wedding is almost like studying for a test; when the big day comes, if you’ve done your homework, you’ve got nothing to stress about!
