DANIELA + PEDRO
Once in a while you get a wedding that goes down in the record books. Daniela + Pedro's wedding was one we will always remember! They had so many (a whole trailer!) filled with handmade items, from handwritten signs to wooden decor made by Pedro. Their wedding was classic and elegant, but still with a touch of vintage pieces in the rentals and lace. The table centerpieces varied, adding a ton of detail to the Charles H Morris Center. Urban Poppy went above and beyond with their flowers! It was like living in a styled shoot! Many, many thanks to Izzy Hudgins for taking these stunning images!
Daniela's wedding was full of handmade touches, from her burlap Save The Dates to balsa wood flowers used throughout the decor. She wanted sparkle and glitz on her wedding, while still keeping it southern and romantic. Her gown was a stunning Hayley Paige gown with a fully beaded bodice and ballgown skirt. She also had our seamstress make custom changes to make it one-of-a-kind, and had the lining of the bodice taken out for a little peak of skin.
Daniela and Pedro got married at Whitfield, one of our favorite squares in Savannah. It features a gazebo which Urban Poppy draped in flowers, and we must say, it turned out perfect. Each row had handmade signs by Daniela in both Spanish and English, and guests had bubbles and ribbon wants to use as they walked down the isle for the first time as husband and wife. Their dog was also included in the ceremony, and helped walk the ring bearers down the isle!
The couple explored downtown with photographer Izzy Hudgins for the best shots, and they even traveled around downtown in a pedi cab! Daniela's bouquet was a work of art, with garden roses and eucalyptus, it was perfect. We love the matching flower crown too!
Daniela and Pedro made so many items for their wedding! All of the signs were handwritten by Daniela, including each escort card and seating display. The best part of their wedding? HORA LOCA! This was our first Hora Loca, which is a crazy hour, and man, it was CRAZY! The DJ turned on the latin tunes and guests danced the hour away with lights, masks, and a man in costume. This is hands down our favorite tradition of 2015.
