AMBER + DAVID

We are SO SO excited to finally share this wedding with you! Amber and David's wedding had more thought than so many weddings we have ever seen or done. From the handmade ceramic vases that David made for their wedding favors to the handmade cactus cake topper to the love quote chalkboards. They also made each vendor their own handmade vase, and we couldn't believe how thoughtful they were! Each of their handmade pots held cactus that their guests could take with them as gifts. They are both artists, and met in Colorado while he was a pottery major and she was an art education major at Colorado State University. They moved to Savannah to further their education at Savannah College of Art and Design, and knew they wanted to have their wedding here. This was hands down one of our most creative and favorite weddings we have ever done.

Wormsloe is one of the most magical places in Savannah, especially at sunset, with the light dancing off of the moss and old oak trees. Amber and David's first look was stunning, and truly a perfect moment for the two to take a moment and breathe before their ceremony. Instead of a bouquet, Amber chose a lantern with flowers designed by A to Zinnias. Also, let's just take a moment to admire how gorgeous Amber is. She has the most beautiful eyes we have ever seen!

Amber and David wanted a ceremony that was unique and special for their family and guests. The wedding took place at Wormsloe at dusk. Guests were greeted to a guitarist playing, a vintage Persian rug and a dresser with lanterns atop it. Guests were asked to each take a lantern. Once we were ready for their ceremony to start the guests walked down to the ceremony alongside Terry Thrift, their guitarist, while lighting the way literally with the lanterns. Following the guests came Amber's flowergirls, her grandmas, and then Amber herself with her dad. After the ceremony Amber and Davidspent a good hour exploring around Wormsloe with their photographer taking magical photos.

After the ceremony guests headed over to Cohen's Retreat and first enjoyed the popcorn bar then Zunzi's family style meals. Later in the evening Lytle Foto opened up their BohoBooth, a photobooth in a small camper, filled with fun props.
